GDPR Consignee Notice

Position Imaging, Inc. (“Position Imaging”) processes your personal data to deliver certain services to you. To ensure compliance with privacy regulation in the European Union and United Kingdom, we request your acknowledgment to the following notice as a condition to receiving the services:

  • We process your personal data only when we have a lawful basis. Presently, we have a legitimate interest and, in some cases, your consent as the lawful basis for processing. Our legitimate interest is to deliver the services to you. We have determined that our processing of your personal data is necessary to deliver the services and that there is no less intrusive means of delivering users such services. Finally, we believe that our processing of personal data will not cause unjustified harm in a way that would override our legitimate interest basis.

  • Position Imaging will share your personal data with third party software providers who collect, store and process your personal data on behalf of Position Imaging and who are contractually obligated to keep your personal data confidential subject to appropriate safeguards to prevent it from unauthorized disclosure.
  • Your personal data will be transferred out of the European Union to Position Imaging located in the United States.
  • Your personal data will be stored in accordance with the record retention requirements applicable to Position Imaging in accordance with its internal policies and applicable U.S. laws.
  • Under the EU GDPR, you have the right to request access to, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data.

If you feel Position Imaging has violated the EU GDPR, you have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate EU supervisory authority. These rights are described in detail in Position Imaging’s Privacy Policy.
